CONCRETE POLISHING FOR FLOORS
A polished concrete floor will use a similar sand and seal technique as epoxy floors. Concrete floors that are polished use a similar grind and seal process as epoxy floors – except that buffing concrete with progressively finer grit, refines the cement into a shiny, semi shine or matte finish. Concrete overlays are being used extensively, and you’ll also see them in shopping malls. Self-leveling concrete floors can be poured in an hour, and result in an elegant, yet seamless look, often seen in galleries and showrooms, banquet halls and retail stores. Colorant may be applied to polished concrete floors in a variety of green and brown earthy shades and additionally in magentas, indigos and yellows.

STAINED CONCRETE FLOORING
Stained concrete flooring surfaces are wonderfully different floors which are perfect for any type of residential or commercial flooring use. Decision makers can choose from two colorization methods. Each result in a low maintenance, yet attractive look depending on what you want to achieve. Property owners sometimes request a leather look for their flooring surface with acid staining then dyes in varying shades can be applied offering further enhancement of the surface. Colorization with stains and dyes enhance any concrete work – decorative overlays, polished concrete or even grind and seal projects. Floor technicians then apply epoxy or urethane sealers for additional protection.
