POLISHED CONCRETE FLOORS

The same look as polished concrete flooring can be achieved with a decorative overlay, which may offer yet another choice to address your flooring requirements. Concrete floors that are polished use a similar grind and seal process as epoxy floors – except that buffing concrete with progressively finer grit, refines the cement into a shiny, semi shine or matte finish. Concrete overlays are being used extensively, and you’ll also see them in shopping malls. The use of self-leveling concrete for this application, results in an uninterrupted, elegantly flawless surface, frequently found in galleries, showrooms, and museums You can also find decorative concrete overlays in restaurants because they’re fast and easy to install with little down time. Colorant may be applied to polished concrete floors in a variety of green and brown earthy shades and additionally in magentas, indigos and yellows.
