CONCRETE POLISHING FOR FLOORS
A polished concrete floor will use a similar sand and seal technique as epoxy floors. Concrete floors that are polished use a similar grind and seal process as epoxy floors – except that buffing concrete with progressively finer grit, refines the cement into a shiny, semi shine or matte finish. The same look as polished concrete is accomplished by the use of a decorative concrete overlay, where the finish is more easily controlled and may better suit your timing. Pigments can be applied to polished concrete floors, and are available in a variety of green and brown earthy shades and also in a variety of shades of red, blue and yellow. There are a vast number of color options.

STAINED CONCRETE FLOORING
Stained concrete flooring is an attractive, one of a kind flooring surface which is ideal for residential use. Architects can choose from two kinds of color system options; acid stains or dyes. Both produces distinctly different outcomes depending on what you want to achieve. Property owners sometimes request a leather look for their flooring surface with acid staining then dyes in varying shades can be applied offering further enhancement of the surface. Sometimes stains or dyes are introduced for more appealing variations. Experts then apply epoxy or urethane sealers for additional protection.
