About Laticrete SuperCap Concrete Floor Vapor Barrier Installation
The project’s Laticrete Supercap System starts with shotblasting the floor. After the shotblast procedure, the PSI team applied 100% solids epoxy and a self-leveling concrete underlayment.
1. Moisture Vapor Control – single coating with 100% solids epoxy penetrates pores in concrete slab taking deep root when cured. This coating may be applied over new concrete in less than one week. Because it cures quickly, the moisture barrier only requires 12 hours for self-leveling concrete.
2. SuperCap – Apply over 100% epoxy. It may be pumped or poured at 1/2 inch thickness. It removes the need for power trowel.
