Basement Waterproofing Solution Fairfield County

The solution starts with surface prep. This could include tile or carpet removal, glue and paint removal from the concrete floor. For heavy removal of carpet glue, they may need to grind the old coating off the floor. If there are tac strips for carpet, they will be removed and the concrete will be patched if needed.
Once the surface is prepped, the FCI pros will apply a urethane glue with a notched trowel. Excess material will be applied to low areas in the concrete floor.
Once the urethane glue is applied, the vinyl tile is laid in place. The advantage of the urethane glue is a superior adhesive while also serving to cap the moisture in the floor.
This unique moisture proofing and vinyl floor tile system minimizes dampness with a designer appearance.
Adding area rugs to the vinyl tile with the appearance of hardwood or stone tile completes the system. Area rugs look great, add warmth and can be easily cleaned. FCI has a huge selection.
